Zamzi Money Manager ("we", "us", "our") provides financial tools at https://money.zamzi.co.za. We are committed to lawful, transparent, and secure processing of personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. POPIA Responsible Party

Zamzi is the Responsible Party for personal information processed through this platform. We use third-party operators (service providers) only under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

3. Information We Process

Depending on your use of the platform, we may process:

  • Account Data: Name, email address, user ID, profile information.
  • Subscription and Credit Data: Payment events, purchase status, available AI prompts/playbook credits, billing timestamps.
  • Support Data: Messages you send to us via forms or email.
  • Usage and Device Data: Basic technical logs used for security, debugging, and service reliability.
  • Financial Entries You Capture: Transaction, budgeting, and planning records you enter in the app.

Important: Many finance tool inputs are stored locally in your browser storage on your device. Some account, payment, entitlement, and service operation data is processed in cloud infrastructure to provide login, payment verification, and premium feature access.

4. Why We Process Personal Information

We process personal information to:

  • Create and secure user accounts.
  • Process purchases and allocate paid credits/features.
  • Provide financial tools and AI features you request.
  • Respond to support queries and improve platform quality.
  • Detect abuse, fraud, or unauthorized use.

5. Lawful Grounds for Processing

Under POPIA, we rely on one or more lawful grounds:

  • Performance of a contract with you (account, payments, service delivery).

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Withdrawal of consent where processing is consent-based.
