Zamzi Terms of Service

Welcome to Zamzi Money Manager. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Money Manager website and related tools at https://money.zamzi.co.za. By creating an account, accessing, or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Service

Zamzi Money Manager is a financial management platform for South African users. It includes tools for budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, pricing, tax planning support, debt planning, and AI-based guidance. The service is intended for informational and operational support and does not replace professional legal, tax, accounting, or financial advice.

2. Eligibility and Account Security

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts.
  • You must provide accurate account details and keep them up to date.
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Fees, Payments, and Credits

The current premium model is:

  • One-time lifetime payment of R459 for premium access.
  • Includes 10 AI Mentor prompts and 3 Revenue Playbook prompts on purchase.
  • Top-ups are available as published on the platform (currently R79 for 10 AI Mentor prompts and R69 for 3 Revenue Playbook prompts).

Payments are processed by third-party providers (including PayFast). You authorize charges for purchases you initiate. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable after successful provisioning of access or credits.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass security, payment, or credit limits.
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with service availability.
  • Misrepresent your identity or use another user’s account.
  • Use the platform to violate any person’s rights.

5. POPIA and Personal Information Processing

We are committed to processing personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (POPIA). We process personal information lawfully, minimally, and for specific purposes related to providing and securing the service.

5.1 Responsible Party and Contact

Zamzi is the Responsible Party for personal information processed through this platform. For privacy requests or POPIA queries, contact admin@zamzi.co.za.

5.2 Categories of Information

Depending on how you use the platform, we may process account information (such as name and email), payment event records, support communications, and financial records you choose to capture in tools.

5.3 Purpose and Lawful Grounds

We process personal information to:

  • Provide and secure your account and purchased features.
  • Deliver core functionality, including AI credits and billing records.
  • Respond to support requests and improve product reliability.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce these Terms.

Lawful grounds include contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interests, and consent where required.

5.4 Data Subject Rights

Subject to POPIA and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, objection, or restriction of processing of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Requests can be sent to admin@zamzi.co.za.

5.5 Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, dispute handling, and fraud prevention. Where legally and technically possible, we will delete or de-identify information on valid request.

5.6 Security Safeguards and Incident Response

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against loss, unauthorized access, and unlawful processing. If a security compromise creates a real risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and regulators as required by POPIA.

5.7 Operators and Cross-Border Processing

We may use vetted operators/service providers (such as hosting, analytics, and payment providers) under confidentiality and security obligations. Where information is processed outside South Africa, we apply appropriate contractual and legal safeguards.

5.8 Complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to a privacy concern, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa): https://inforegulator.org.za.

6. Intellectual Property

All platform software, branding, text, graphics, and content (excluding user-submitted content) are owned by Zamzi or its licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, distribute, or create derivative works except as permitted by law or written consent.

7. Third-Party Services

The platform may integrate with third-party services (for example, payment processors or embedded links). Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Disclaimers

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific financial outcomes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zamzi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from platform use. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Zamzi in the preceding 12 months.

10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where required for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or breach of these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer law.
